Procedures and Continuous Monitoring
Following your initial consultation you will be directed for any essential diagnostic procedures, including an ECG or echocardiogram.
Depending on your condition, there might also be a need for continuous monitoring, for example a 24-hour blood pressure monitor or extended ECG monitoring. Your consultant will subsequently discuss the findings from your tests with you and, if necessary, initiate any further referrals that may be necessary for more intricate investigations at other hospitals.
We are committed to providing timely feedback and ensure that all results are promptly shared with your GP and any other healthcare professionals involved in your care. It is our standard practice to keep you informed by copying you in on all correspondence and test results.
Stay in control
Your consultant will collaborate with you to establish your treatment plan during your first consultation. If additional investigations are necessary, they will be carefully discussed and planned. For self-funding patients, we are committed to keeping you fully informed about the associated treatment costs at every step of your care plan.
