Q: What to do if I have severe chest pain?

We are an out-patient service only and do not cater for emergencies. If the chest pain becomes severe it can indicate a serious condition such as a heart attack. Seek medical attention immediately.

Q: Do you offer a testing only service?

Yes, we do offer a cardiac testing-only service. You would still require a referral letter in order to book the test. Once the test is done, we will email you a copy of the results to share with your GP or health professional.

Q: What is an angiogram, and how does it help with heart disease diagnosis?

An angiogram is an imaging test that uses X-rays to view the inside of blood vessels, especially coronary arteries, to detect blockages or narrowing that could lead to heart attacks.

Q: What is a stress test, and why would I need one?

A stress test monitors your heart while you exercise or are given medication that simulates exercise. It helps to assess how your heart responds to physical stress and can detect issues like blocked arteries or arrhythmias.

Q: What is an echocardiogram, and when is it needed?

The two baseline tests that are required for a heart health check are an ECG (Electrocardiogram) & an Echo (Echocardiogram).
